Owner and founder of River Oaks Dance. Sara has spent more than 15 years helping children discover the joy of dance. As the founder of River Oaks Dance, her mission is to create a welcoming studio where every child can build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for movement. She believes dance is about much more than learning technique—it's about helping children grow both on and off the dance floor.
An ABT® Certified Teacher and certified Leap N Learn® master teacher, Sara combines professional training with a nurturing approach that helps dancers of all ages thrive. Nothing brings her more joy than seeing children discover what they're capable of while feeling supported every step of the way.
As River Oaks Dance's Operations Manager, Ms. Kat helps create the welcoming, organized experience families enjoy from the moment they walk through the door. With a background in education and a lifelong appreciation for dance, she understands how important it is for both students and parents to feel supported throughout their journey with the studio.
Whether she's helping families navigate registration or supporting the instructors behind the scenes, Ms. Kat is committed to making every experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. She loves helping create an environment where children and families feel right at home.
Ms. Luisa began dancing at the age of three and discovered her passion for teaching long before becoming a professional instructor. After performing professionally in Mexico, she continued her ballet education in Houston and became an ABT® Certified Teacher. Her experience with both recreational and competitive dancers allows her to meet children where they are and help them grow with confidence.
She especially enjoys working with younger dancers, creating classes that balance structure, creativity, and fun. Her goal is to help every dancer build a strong technical foundation while developing a lifelong appreciation for dance.
Originally from Córdoba, Mexico, Ms. Paulina brings an exceptional depth of professional performance and teaching experience to River Oaks Dance. Having performed internationally and danced leading roles in renowned ballet productions, she understands the dedication and discipline that strong ballet training requires.
Certified by the American Ballet Theatre®, Ms. Paulina creates classes where dancers are challenged while feeling supported and inspired. She strives to help students develop excellent technique while fostering a genuine love for ballet that lasts for years to come.
Ms. Celina's dance journey has taken her from early ballet training in Texas to earning a degree in dance and performing professionally with Noble Motion Dance. Along the way, she discovered a passion for working with children and creating positive learning experiences that encourage both artistic and personal growth.
Her teaching style blends creativity with structure, helping students feel confident while developing strong ballet fundamentals. She strives to create a classroom where every child feels supported, challenged, and excited to continue learning.
Ms. Jelly brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for teaching into every class she leads. With training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and several other dance styles, she enjoys helping children express themselves while building confidence and strong technical skills.

Ms. Jamie has dedicated her life to dance education, beginning her training at her mother's studio before studying a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and pointe. With decades of teaching, choreography, and leadership experience, she has helped countless young dancers develop both strong technique and a genuine love for movement.
Throughout her career, Ms. Jamie has believed that every child deserves to feel encouraged, challenged, and celebrated in the classroom. Her warm teaching style combines experience, creativity, and patience, helping dancers build confidence while discovering the joy that comes from learning and performing.
With more than 13 years of dance experience, Mr. Hydro brings creativity, energy, and passion to every class he teaches. As a choreographer and performer, he's known for blending strong technical training with expressive movement, helping students develop both confidence and their own unique style.

As a Teaching Assistant, Ms. Genesis enjoys creating a positive classroom environment where dancers feel encouraged to learn and explore. She believes every child deserves patience, kindness, and support as they build confidence through movement and creativity.
Erica's love for dance began at the age of three and eventually led her from teaching young dancers to helping families navigate the enrollment journey. Her experience in both the classroom and administration allows her to understand the needs of parents while creating a welcoming experience from the very first interaction.
She enjoys building relationships with families and making every step of the registration process feel simple and stress-free. Erica loves being part of the River Oaks community and helping new dancers begin an exciting chapter with confidence.
Dalia combines years of dance performance, leadership, and educational experience with a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Having trained and taught dancers across Texas, she understands the importance of creating programs that inspire creativity while building confidence and strong technical skills.
As Programs Coordinator, Dalia enjoys supporting both students and instructors while helping classes run smoothly behind the scenes. Her goal is to ensure every dancer has the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover the joy that dance brings.
Taylor grew up surrounded by dance, spending much of her childhood helping behind the scenes at her aunt's studio. That early experience sparked a passion for creating memorable experiences for families through recitals, studio events, and day-to-day operations.
Today, Taylor helps keep River Oaks Dance running smoothly while creating a welcoming atmosphere for every family who walks through the doors. She loves being part of the magic behind each performance and helping students create lasting memories throughout their dance journey.
